At a price of Rs 19.98 lakh (ex-showroom), MG claims that this innovation makes the ZS EV the only all-electric vehicle under Rs 20 lakh in India with a panoramic dual-pane sunroof.

The Excite Pro is much less expensive than the new Exclusive Plus trim by Rs 4 lakh, although it costs Rs 1 lakh more than the basic ZS EV Executive model. It has been verified that the Excite Pro has a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, even though the exact specifications are yet unknown. According to Autocar, expect the same suite of creature amenities and safety features as the now-discontinued Excite model.

Redesigning its EV lineup is MG Motor India’s calculated approach. The Exclusive is now the Exclusive Plus, the Exclusive Pro is now called the Essence, and the Excite trim has been replaced by the Excite Pro.

The top-tier Essence trim is expected to come with a 360-degree camera, a 10.1-inch touchscreen, a wireless charger, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, and cutting-edge connected vehicle technologies. All other trims are expected to include features that are identical to those of their predecessors. With features like electronic stability control, ABS with EBD, six airbags, ADAS, and hill descent control, safety is a top priority.

Every trim has the same 50.3kWh battery pack, which gives it an ARAI range of 461 km. It also has an electric motor installed on the front axle with 177 horsepower.

In the face of fierce competition from the Tata Nexon EV and the newly modified Mahindra XUV400, MG Motor India seems to be making sure that a wide variety of consumers find their EVs attractive.
