Hon’ble President Droupadi Murmu Recognises MZM Care’s Social Impact; A Proud Milestone for Suzanne Memon

Suzanne Memon, Director of MZM Care and Founding Partner of MZM Legal LLP, was invited for a one-on-one meeting with the Hon’ble President of India, Droupadi Murmu, during her recent visit to Mumbai. The interaction took place at Raj Bhavan and was initiated by the President’s office to discuss key philanthropic initiatives undertaken by MZM Care under the guidance and direction of Rashtrapati Bhavan.

The interaction was convened to discuss the wide-ranging philanthropic work undertaken by MZM Care Foundation under the leadership of Suzanne Memon, and to explore meaningful avenues for working more closely and effectively towards the upliftment of underprivileged communities across the country.

Speaking about the meeting, Suzanne shared on her Instagram, “I’m overwhelmed with emotion and feel compelled to share, a truly surreal moment unfolded on 24th February when I had the incredible privilege of meeting the Hon’ble President of India at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai. Representing our foundation, MZM Care, in a one-on-one interaction was an honour I’ll carry forever. Her humility, grounded nature, and compassion left me in awe. Hearing about her extraordinary work, driven by a genuine desire to uplift society, was profoundly inspiring and left a mark on my heart.”

The meeting marks a defining milestone for MZM Care, the philanthropic arm conceived alongside MZM Legal LLP with the belief that the practice of law must remain closely aligned with social responsibility. For co-founders Suzanne and Zulfiquar Memon, giving back has always been integral to the Firm’s ethos, not a parallel pursuit.

Working across healthcare, education and community empowerment throughout India, MZM Care collaborates with respected organisations such as the Rotary Club of Bombay and academic institutions, including the National Law School of India University, along with schools and medical centres nationwide. Its Scholarship Programme remains anchored in the simple belief that no deserving student should be held back due to financial limitations.

The occasion marks not only a proud milestone for Suzanne Memon and MZM Care Foundation, but also a reaffirmation of their commitment to inclusive growth and meaningful social change.
